SubTracker Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SubTracker ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the SubTracker application. If you have questions, contact us at app.subtracker@gmail.com.
Information handled by SubTracker
SubTracker lets you enter and manage information about your subscriptions, including names, prices, billing periods, categories, and renewal dates. This content is stored on your device. If you choose Sign in with Apple and iCloud synchronization, it may also be stored in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service so it can be available on your devices.
Depending on the features you choose, SubTracker may request access to:
- Your calendar or reminders to create renewal events or reminders.
- Notifications to alert you about upcoming renewals.
- Your Apple account identity to support Sign in with Apple.
You control these permissions through SubTracker and iOS Settings. We do not use subscription content you enter to select advertisements.
Advertising and consent
SubTracker uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically receive or process information such as:
- Device and advertising identifiers, including IDFA when you authorize tracking.
- IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address.
- Device, operating system, application, and language information.
- Advertising interactions, impressions, clicks, and related usage data.
- Diagnostics and information used to prevent fraud and abuse.
This information may be used to deliver, measure, limit the frequency of, and improve advertisements. When permitted by your choices and applicable law, it may also be used for personalized advertising. Otherwise, Google may serve non-personalized or limited advertisements using contextual information.
Where required, SubTracker uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for and manage advertising consent. If UMP indicates that privacy options must remain available, you can reopen them from Privacy Choices in SubTracker's Settings. You may also control application tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before your choice changed.
Service providers
We rely on service providers to operate application features:
- Google: advertising, consent management, ad measurement, diagnostics, and fraud prevention through Google Mobile Ads and UMP.
- Apple: application distribution, Sign in with Apple, iCloud and CloudKit synchronization, notifications, and device permissions.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services, review the Google Privacy Policy, and review the Apple Privacy Policy.
Legal bases
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, advertising personalization and access to device advertising identifiers rely on your consent. We may also process limited information as necessary to provide requested application features, comply with legal obligations, and protect the application and its users against security threats, fraud, and abuse.
Retention and security
Subscription information remains on your device or in your private iCloud account until you delete it, remove the application, or manage it through your iCloud settings. Google and Apple determine retention periods for information they process according to their policies and your account or consent settings. We use platform security controls intended to protect application data, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children's privacy
SubTracker is a general-audience application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the application. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can address the request.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information; object to or withdraw consent for processing; request portability; or opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing as those terms are defined by applicable law. You may exercise available in-app advertising choices, change tracking permission in iOS Settings, or contact us at app.subtracker@gmail.com.
You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.
International processing
Google and Apple may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they use for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when SubTracker's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
